THINGS GRADUATE STUDENTS ACCEPTED FROM THESIS DEFENSE EXAMINATION SHOULD DO WITHIN 1 MONTH


1- A copy of the graduation petition found in the general documents on the website of the Graduate School must be obtained.

2- Before printing the thesis; after the corrections given in the thesis defense exam are made, after the approval of the thesis completion from the advisor and jury members, it should be checked by the relevant Institute Assistant Director. Controls; The final version of the thesis is e-mailed to zbeu.fbe@gmail.com in the form of “pdf”. When sending an e-mail, first write the Department and then the name in the subject section, for example; “Mechanical Engineering Çiğdem ERDOĞAN”. When the Deputy Director of the Graduate School gives the approval for printing, the graduation petition is signed and delivered to the student affairs of the Graduate School. 3 of the thesis must be printed as many times as requested to be given to the Graduate School Directorate (acceptance pages must be printed in the thesis with wet signature). The ethics page in the thesis must be signed by the student who prepared the thesis.

3- The documents in the graduation petition must be filled in and signed by the relevant persons and the student who prepared the thesis. Points to be considered;

- The dismissal form must be signed by the Head of the Department, the advisor faculty member and the central library, except the student who prepared the thesis.

- At the bottom right of the graduation petition, the student who prepared the thesis should write and sign his/her name and surname, and the date section at the top right should be left blank.

- In the originality form, the date and percentage section should be left blank, and the other fields should be filled in and signed by the student who prepared the thesis and the advisor.

- The Postponement of Access to Graduate Theses Form is optional, and students who request a postponement should fill in the relevant sections and after the relevant sections are filled in and signed by the advisor and the student preparing the thesis, it should be delivered to the department secretariat and sent to the Graduate School Directorate with a cover letter.

- The Thesis Data Entry Form must be prepared by becoming a member of the YÖK Presidency Thesis Center with e-government login. (Except for the “Department of Mathematics and Science Education”, other departments should make the “Department of Science” blank, and the ORCID number must also be taken).

- Turnitin report will be received by the Graduate School Directorate when the theses, documents and CDs are delivered to the Graduate School Directorate.

4- The ACCEPTANCE page should not be included in the thesis PDF in its signed form (the signed version of the acceptance page should be included in the bound part of the thesis and on the CD separately from the thesis). The ethics page must also be signed by the student preparing the thesis and must be included in the bound parts of the thesis and must be included on the CD outside the thesis (The unsigned version will also be included in the thesis PDF). The CD must contain the thesis in pdf format (the thesis must be named with the reference number in the thesis data entry form), as well as the abstract and abstract sections of the thesis separately in pdf form, the signed version of the acceptance page (signed by the jury members and the Institute Director), the signed version of the ethics page. The signature, e-mail, e-mail, telephone number, place of birth and date of birth should not be written in the entire thesis. CDs must be in a hard container with a cover and the name of the university, department, program, subject of the thesis, name, surname and year of the student who prepared the thesis.

5- All these procedures must be prepared to be delivered to the Graduate School Directorate within 1 month from the Thesis Defense Exam Date.
