Pursuant to the letter dated 01.08.2025 from the Zonguldak Governorship Provincial Directorate of Migration Management:

According to Article 24, paragraph 2 of the Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection:
"Extension applications shall be submitted to the governorships starting sixty days before the expiration of the residence permit and in any case before the residence permit expires."

Additionally, Article 67, paragraph 24 of the Implementation Directive on Residence Permit Procedures, dated 15.01.2025 and numbered 330595, states:
"The file regarding the extension application for a student residence permit shall be prepared by the student and submitted to the international student office starting sixty days before the expiration of the residence permit and before the permit expires."

In this context, it is important for international students residing in our country with a student residence permit to be aware that they must apply for an extension starting from sixty days before the expiration of their current permit and before it expires.

To avoid any loss of rights, international students are kindly reminded to take these deadlines into consideration and complete their applications on time.
